Turning 50

Birthdays deserve to be celebrated and big birthdays should be immortalized! When Jennifer reached out to celebrate her 50th in front of the camera, I knew it was going to be a special kind of photoshoot. I had worked with her 10 years ago and I couldn’t wait to play catch-up.
In her first shoot, she was initially shy and reserved, hiding her true self, but this time she did not hold back. Even though she was so worried that she would be awkward in front of the camera, Jennifer was a complete natural.
We drank bubbly while Jennifer had her hair and make-up done and I shared funny dating stories. I had brought some gowns, lingerie and accessories for her to try and I love the looks we ended up with. We started classy and slowly got sexier and sexier in the looks and poses. I say it time and time again, women only get sexier with age.
A week after the shoot we did a virtual reveal of her best photos and I guided her with her final selection. I like choosing the images with my clients because I can help them to choose a balanced selection and I can answer any questions they may have. Her luxury velvet album arrives soon and I’ll make sure to update this blog post when it arrives.
Jennifer was such a pleasure to work with and was a reminder of why I love being a photographer.
