This beautiful woman, Hege, came to me looking to reclaim her femininity and have a day that could be all about creative exploration. As a first time client, I was really excited how much she trusted me to make this dream photoshoot concept a reality. Being a mom and a professional in a field of men, it’s easy to lose oneself sense of style. But through the glam make-over process, we were able to bring out a hidden side of Hege. I was even more excited to hear that when she returned home to Norway that she started to transform her everyday life to reflect a touch of the glamour that she experienced in her photoshoot.
What I loved about shooting at Manoir Blackswan so much was how every room had it’s own unique personality. The house is filled with these elaborate antiques curated perfectly by its owner. Being in the space, I felt an overwhelming positive energy, I can’t wait to go back to shoot again.
