For Him, But Really it’s for You
Moms are superheroes.
We show up, we give endlessly, and we make sure everyone else is taken care of before we even think about ourselves.
Sound familiar?
The problem is, that cycle doesn’t leave much room for the woman you are. The one who existed before school lunches, before carpool duty, before the mental load took over your every waking thought.
And somewhere along the way, we’re fed this ridiculous narrative that once you become a mother, you’re supposed to tone it down. That being sexy, sensual, or bold is no longer “appropriate.”
Honestly? That’s bullshit.
You don’t stop being a woman the moment you become a mother.
Recently, a client came into my Montreal boudoir studio with one goal: to surprise her husband with a gift. A little something bold, flirty, and unforgettable. She wore the prettiest summer dress, showed off her curves in black lingerie, and for the final look—threw on his favourite sports jersey. (Which, by the way, is the ultimate power move if your partner’s a sports fan. Just trust me.)
But here’s what I always tell my clients, and what she realized by the end of the session:
Even when you think you’re doing this for someone else…
It always becomes a gift for you.
This shoot turned into a full celebration of everything she is—strong, beautiful, confident, and yes, sexy. Because she still is.
She walked out of that studio standing a little taller, smiling a little wider, and feeling more connected to herself than she had in years. That’s the part nobody tells you: a boudoir session isn’t just about the final photos—it’s about the experience. It’s about reclaiming a version of you that still exists under the everyday noise.
At Coco Haus, I’ve created a private, luxurious studio space right here on the Lachine Canal in Montreal, specifically designed to celebrate women—moms included. Every detail is handled for you. From professional hair and makeup to a full wardrobe and expert posing guidance, you don’t need to know how to do anything except show up.
Whether it’s a surprise for your partner or a long-overdue reminder for yourself, a boudoir photoshoot is a powerful act of self-love.
You deserve to feel sexy.
You deserve to be celebrated.
And yes—you’re allowed to enjoy the hell out of it.
So if you’re looking for Montreal boudoir photography that understands where you’re at and knows how to bring you back to you…
This is your sign. Let’s create something unforgettable—just for you (and okay, maybe for him too).
