I loved this photoshoot I created with Rachel. She was so full of life and we laughed through-out the photoshoot. At first she wasn’t sure if she wanted to be photographed in lingerie but by the end Rachel loved it! I love when my clients get the opportunity to push their boundaries. It’s so important as women to discover all sides of our sensuality.
Rachel Remark is a native New Yorker who moved to LA 14 years ago and never looked back. She currently runs her own licensing and promotions consulting business and is supremely happy with the life she has created for herself on the “Best Coast.”
What projects you are currently working on?
For one of my clients, we have a big partnership launching March 1st with a major beverage company. It will feature co-branded displays at all the major retailers along with fun events nationwide. As Back-to-School is my Client’s biggest focus, we have a number of fun things planned for that window as well with packaged goods partners across a wide variety of categories.
What’s your guilty pleasure?
Hmmmm, only one? I must admit I LOVE to indulge… Spa days, decadent desserts, Netflix binging, you name it! If I had to pick just one “guilty pleasure” though, I’d say going to a movie for a double-feature and eating those awful theater nachos and a couple of different types of candy.
I love the saying, “Risk it for the Biscuit”. What does your end biscuit look like?
My end biscuit is actually super simple – I want my business to be stable so that I earn enough to live comfortably, be able to travel nicely when I want to and not worry about my next client. On the personal front, I am ready to settle down with my life partner and want to enjoy daily life with him, friends and family while exploring all the fun things to do and see throughout Los Angeles.
Who has been your greatest inspiration?
I have many people close to me who are absolutely incredible but I think my greatest inspiration would be my mom. She has faced more hardship, disappointment and illness than almost anyone I know and even though she continues to face pretty big challenges she is still trying to be better, improve her life, focus on being happy and be grateful for what she has.
How long have you been living in LA?
I moved to LA almost 14 years ago for a man. We broke up 6 weeks after I arrived but I loved it so much I decided to stay! (We call him “The Catalyst!”)
What did you want to do when you were growing up?
After the requisite desire to be a ballerina or an actress, I wanted to be an ophthalmologist! Once I realized I would have to go to medical school and dissect a corpse I decided that being a financial advisor would be more appealing. And no, I am not a financial advisor today!
How do you take your coffee?
I actually don’t drink coffee; I have WAY too much natural energy and would be bouncing off the walls! LOL I prefer herbal teas like peppermint or maybe something fruity like a nice peach ginger…
What does hell look like for you?
Hell would be not having my physical health. Not being able to exercise regularly, eat cleanly, walk, dance, type answers to these questions. Whenever I have a bad day, I always remember how lucky I am to be in my body…
What does heaven look like?
See my answer above to the end biscuit question! 😉
What are you most looking forward to in 2017?
Meeting the man of my dreams. I am working hard on manifesting his arrival and I am 100% certain that he is on his way… 😉
