Client Spotlight: Julie Price

I had so much fun photographing Julie in her different looks. Shooting glamour to denim, it was great to have a model with such a big personality on set.  The best photoshoots are always the ones where we work as a team to make sure the end photos are fabulous.

Born in Cleveland, OH, Julie recently moved to L.A. to escape the winter blues. She first visited the area 2 years ago, for a fan tour photoshoot with plus size supermodel Tess Holiday, and fell in love with the warm weather, cool people, and beautiful palm trees! Following Tess’ advice to seriously pursue modeling, she has been actively working on building a diverse portfolio. Julie has been privileged to not only work with amazing photographers here is L.A., but also international photographers in Mexico, Costa Rica, and Jamaica. In addition to growing her modeling career, she also worked full time as an Emergency Room Nurse for a local hospital.

I’ve teamed up with an amazing designer/creative director, named Tyce (who’s worked with Janet Jackson, Queen Latifah, and Normani Kordei of 5th Harmony). Together, we are creating a denim inspired, high fashion clothing line, that is launching this summer. I’m very excited to couple such a versatile, everyday fabric with edgy, fashion-forward designs to compliment the vivacious, curvaceous, free spirit woman! I am also developing my website/lifestyle blog to connect with and inspire women everywhere to live a fabulous, limitless, and purpose-driven life!

Guilty pleasure….OMG, I have THE worst sweet tooth in the world! Like if cupcakes had nutritional value, I would never eat regular food a day in my life! Lol!

Oprah Winfrey is a goddess and my one of my biggest role models! To struggle from humble beginnings and make such an impact on the world is truly inspiring. She is not only beautiful but her intellect, style, and grace makes her a powerful force to be reckoned with!

What did you want to do when you were growing up?

I’ve always wanted to be in the fashion/beauty/entertainment world in any capacity. I’ve been involved in singing, dancing, comedy, fashion design, hair/makeup since I was little.

My “end biscuit ” is to have a full scale entertainment, fashion, and beauty conglomerate and take the world by storm!

I envision heaven as a fabulous all-white attire beach party, where everyone is sipping on champagne and all of the great singers/musicians are having a jam session on stage!

2017 has been a great year so far! I’m looking forward to launching my brand and living my dreams!
